AU: Merlin and the Lady of the Lake (Itachi and Sakura)
“I set the scene in medieval times, featuring them as Merlin and the Lady of the Lake.
The legend says that Merlin the wizard, half demon and half mortal, fell in love with Viviane and tought her his spells. But as soon as she learnt his secrets, she imprisoned him in an enchanted cage, maybe a tree. I like to think that Merlin was aware of her true intentions, nevertheless he let her do it anyway.
That coarse wool coat is just an idea of mine, I just wanted to set the image on dark brown-pink over a delicate background, also the “wild” look of that garment contrasts properly with the pink silky veil of the woman. Actually, at the beginning I thought of making them as a shaman and a witch, but later I liked the idea of Merlin and Viviane the most.”
