We were supposed to do a surreal matte painting of the Ming Dynasty, but I think I didn’t do the surreal thing very well… so I added in some jellyfish. Jellyfish make everything look surreal lol.
This painting made me realize how much more I love drawing natural environments, rather than cityscapes and buildings. For some reason all those straight lines really put me off. ;_;
